welcome

experience
i swear to goodness,
you’re not awkward.
when was the last time you had your photo taken?
And I'm not talking Mom with the iPhone, photos. Real, posed professional photos.
Most of my couples think that there is something un-photogenic about them, that they're awkward or uncomfortable and it's JUST NOT TRUE.
If taking photos has been a less than pleasant experience for you, chances are, you just had awkward photos taken.
Photography should be fun, inviting, a little goofy, and 100% oriented to telling your story.
When done right, I promise it is magical.

“we take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone.”
How it goes:

Like any good relationship, we gotta vibe...
You are going to spend a lot of time with me, on your big day and leading up to it, so it is important to make sure that we click. I want you to feel like we would actually hang out in real life, outside of this fairy tale wedding experience you are having.

I am super drawn to vintage imagery from the 60s, 70s, and 80s -- when candid film was all that was available. Photographs looked like real, authentic moments captured in real time. Catching you with your guard down, being your true self with your best friend, is the absolute best case scenario for amazing images. I am personally not a fan of "SAY CHEESE" pics with forced smiles and a dire need to be over with it fast.
